Drawing from Marples’ and Hand’s outlines of the debate surrounding educational aims (Bailey, 2010) and other scholarly sources, critically examine the aims of education (while also identifying and arguing your own formed view). Then (drawing on your own understanding and other relevant sources) discuss the ethical obligations for teachers of the view for which you have argued. Write well, consistent with scholarly writing conventions and argument structure, and submit work that is free of errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation. 4.
