Developing Confidence & Good Leadership Skills in Managing Change (thank you to Arturo Flores & Vi-Phan for influencing this complex discussion)

You have just been promoted to the top management leadership team (congrats! ). Your first order of business is to change the culture in your organization. You want to create a culture of productivity, team support, and buy-in. As in any leadership role, you will have 50% of the people who support you and your vision and 50% of the people who do NOT support you.

You may want to think about the most recent Presidential election as you answer the below questions. It makes absolutely no difference who you supported during the election. What I want you to think about is the complexity of leadership and these questions – these are not easy questions to answer!

Please Choose TWO of the following bullet points to answer:

1. What leadership skills do you need in order to effectively lead an organizational change (be specific)? Why?

2. How will you go about changing the culture of your organization? Please provide your step-by-step process.
