This report will involve an informed analysis and discussion of business challenges when implementing a change programme. Students are required to consult the research literature to extend their understanding of leadership and management, culture change and elements that enhance personal impact, and to apply appropriate theoretical perspectives and research findings to an in-depth analysis and critical evaluation of implementing change.


Characterise elements for consideration when planning and implementing organisational change. Critically discuss various approaches to change, key aspects and best practice based of leading change on evidence from journals, papers and case studies. Specific consideration should be given to the role of the leader, and their personal qualities, individuals’ reactions to change and the role of culture in an organisation.
