  1. A football quarter back runs 12 m straight down the playing field in 2.3 seconds (in the positive direction). He is then hit and pushed 1.5 m straight backwards in 1.95 seconds. He breaks the tackle and runs straight forward another 16 m in 4.2 seconds.
