Choose a U.S. woman artist of any historical period. Organize your paper into three sections: Section 1: Give a brief summary of this artist’s work and contribution to the field of women in the arts; Section 2: Choose one or two works of the artist, describing the imagery and the way in which gender is represented in the artwork (visual examples will be useful here); Section 3: Discuss how this artist’s work is feminist in orientation.
